BabyWearing

When Eleanor was little we took a little trip to a store called The Nurtured Family in Houston to look at different baby carriers.  I had heard of baby wearing and was intrigued.  I also liked the idea of being able to "carry" Ellie around without having my hands full.

I bought the Hava Ring Sling (the one in the left picture) and really liked it when Elle was tiny.  Unfortunately it took a lot of shjujing" to get  just right so I didn't use it as much as I had hoped.

Enter: The Ergo.  A friend of mine let me borrow her Ergo and although I didn't immediately fall in love, I grew to love it so much.

It helped me get through outings with Ellie before she was big enough to ride in the cart and now a days, it helps me get housework done when she's feeling needy.

Yesterday she rode around with me for over an hour and even took a little catnap back there.  It also gives me the perfect opportunity to tickle her little feet, seeing as she can't do much about it or run from me.   As payback, she loves to pull mommy's hair as much as possible.  Hey, you win some, you lose some right?
