2 Months!

Today Casey's grandma and I took sweet Ellie in for her 2 month check up and vaccinations. Dr. Kozak checked her out and said that she's doing great! Her growth is perfect and he's very happy with everything. She did SO well during her vaccinations and only cried once (her face got SUPER red though) even though she had to get 3 shots and one oral vaccination. Such a big, brave girl!


And now some Ellie updates:

Height: 22 1/2 inches Weight: 11 lbs!
Our sweet girl is in the 50th percentile for almost everything! See

-Elle is still in love with Mr. Fan, but she also has a new boyfriend - Mr. Lamp. She could stare at him for days.
-TOYS! Our little girl has discovered toys and she LOVES playing now. She has a giraffe toy in her pack and play that she really adores. She will smile and flirt with him as long as I let her, but sometimes she gets mad at him and starts hitting him and yelling. It's SO funny.
-Watching Riley and Zac. She loves watching them zip around the house.
-Kitty. Kitty is her Wubbanub and best friend. We forgot Kitty when we went to church last Sunday. It was not good. Kitty makes everything better when Elle gets upset. Elle loves Kitty. We love Kitty.
- Ellie is holding her head up and looking around ALL the time. She is so strong! It's so nice not having to worry about supporting her head constantly.
-We were given permission to let her sleep through the night - YAY! I know she is going to be a champ at this because I ALWAYS have to wake her up for her feedings during the night. She is such a heavy sleeper.

Casey and I fall more in love with our sweet girl every day. I know it's such a cliche but I NEVER imagined I could have this much love in my heart. Everything about her makes us love her more.

She smiled - love. She laughed - loooooooove. She pooped - SWOON! Screaming for no reason - don't even care - LOVE!

We are so thankful that God gave us such an amazing little person to call our daughter.

Eleanor - one day you will find this blog and be so embarrassed by all the things I posted on here, but just know that you're mom and dad love you SO incredibly much. You are our everything.

Eleanor's Christening

Yesterday our baby girl Eleanor Marie Page was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Klein, Texas. She was mostly wonderful with the exception of a little fussiness. Casey's Grandma says that's just the devil leaving the church - haha. After her baptism we headed back to our house for a small reception and Ellie was showered with so many wonderful, sweet gifts. Who knew you got gifts for a baptism?!

Go Texan Day!

We spent Go Texan Day with Nona, Pawpaw, Aunt Jen, Abby, and Rylan. Though we aren't going to the rodeo at all this year I thought it was important that Ellie dress for the occasion.

Happy Elle-ntine's Day!

I'll go ahead and admit it. I used to hate Valentine's Day. Now that I'm a wife and mother of a little girl - I am kind of obsessed.

Hearts? Pink and Red? I love it all!

Ellie's first Valentine's Day consisted of us getting up and putting on our VDay outfits. A monkey 1st Valentine's outfit for Elle and a red sweater and pink shoes for mommy. Casey came home for lunch and surprised me with Saltgrass! Because of being pregnant I had not been able to eat a medium rare steak in 10 months so needless to say I was SUPER excited. It was so nice to have Casey home for lunch because he doesn't really get to see how fun Ellie can be during the middle of the day. We had lunch and before Casey left he asked a super strange question: "How would you and Eleanor like to have a matching outfit for Valentine's?". This pretty much blew my mind and I started playing a movie in my head where every outfit I owned, Ellie had a smaller one (similar to the scene on the movie Big Daddy when they come out of Brooks Brothers with matching suits. Remember that?). I am SO excited about this possibility.

After C leaves Ellie and I ventured up to the mall and then back home for a short Valentine's day photo shoot. I am LOVING our Canon Rebel! Here are a few of Ellie's V-Day pics!

Paw Paw

One of the greatest joys of my life has been making my dad a grandfather. I always feel like I can never repay him enough for being such a great daddy but this is a start.

Prayers needed

Prayers needed for my sweet mom. She's in the hospital with congestive heart failure and has to wear a LifeVest defibrillator until she can have surgery. Ellie loves her Nona and needs her around for a long time so please keep my mom in your prayers.
